Sibusiso Dladla

Sibu founded the fashion label Jaded Life and sub-brand Jaded Androgen in 2006 in Cape Town with an inspirational southern African sunbird logo, having studied at UCT, the city's Haute Couture School of Fashion and subsequently London's LCCA and UEL (BA Hons Fashion Design) as preparation for an MA in Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the London College of Fashion, UAL. JL relocated to London in 2011 having built on its retailing and styling base in South Africa where Sibu had also developed expertise in managing promotional events for such high-profile clients as Fish Eagle brandy and SAB Miller, as well as in fashion. Sibu, a Swazi-South African, has modelled in London Fashion Week having been scouted as a teenager leading to stints in Milan and Paris, walking for Gaultier. He has fronted major ad campaigns from the VW Beetle to Jameson's whiskey while presents interviews during LFW for A cherished long-term ambition is to re-invest in South African education to nurture young designers through social enterprise and the endowment of a dedicated academy. @sibumuse / email:



Peter Huffam

Born opposite Big Ben, Peter has drawn upon his extensive and diverse world-wide experience of over 16 years' overseas residency to inform his working relationship with Sibu at Jaded Life in staging events and fashion shows (having modelled in Hong Kong), fashion design assistance,TV co-production, administration and realising JL's website. He has been inspired by periods of living in the Americas and continental Europe to Asias Minor and South-East, teaming up with Sibu and JL in Cape Town in 2006.
