The company produced a stage tour blazer at short notice to be worn at the Hop Farm Festival in Kent which Grace Jones headlined on 6th July. The design cues came from a Sofiatown Collection jacket rendered in a glitter sequinned ruby red reinterpreted in collaboration with the artist. Grace Jones opened with the title track from the recently reissued Nightclubbing album while after multiple costume changes, for each song, strutted onto the stage mid-set in shimmering ruby to perform the classic La Vie en Rose in typically flamboyant manner and, remarkably, thanked the designers for their efforts after the song...fellow singer Billy Ocean (pictured backstage, after his set) was also enthusiastic about the jacket and requested a business card!
