Jaded Life and Sibu are delighted to produce a jacket for the GRAMMY-award winning countertenor and actor, Anthony Roth Costanzo (2022 Best Opera Recording for Philip Glass' Akhnaten). ARC has recently been in London for both the BBC Proms / ENO Glass Handel multimedia performance at the Printworks (Image 6 in Raf Simons' babushka costume) and to promote his second album Only An Octave Apart with cabaret star JVB, Justin Vivian Bond at Wilton's Music Hall. Anthony caught Jaded Life's eye taking the title role in the visually stunning and rapturously well-received performance of Akhnaten at the Olivier Award-winning English National Opera revival in 2019 (Peter had first seen ENO's original staging in 1985, picking up a Philip Glass-signed souvenir recording and yes, we'll be back for the 2023 production!)...matters having come full circle: Bowie had referenced Glass in the early 80s while ARC & JVB return the compliment in singing Under Pressure. The last singer's tour jacket Jaded Life was commisioned to tailor was for Grace Jones' La Vie en Rose song... see NEWS: 6/7/14.
